Volunteering enables people to play an active role in society, contribute to positive social change, and to support young people in reaching their full potential. Our volunteering opportunities will allow you to gain experiences in Youth Centre settings, working with a range of young people. 

 

The Gibraltar Youth Service places a high value on the skills, knowledge, commitment and enthusiasm that volunteers bring to its team.

 

Our Policy:

The application process to become a volunteer for the service is as follow:

​

1. Fill out an application form

2. Secure 2 references

3. Complete a police vetting form

4. Read the volunteering policy and complete the section of the ‘Placement agreement’  in conjunction with the full time staff member that is overseeing the process.

5. If you have lived outside of Gibraltar these Police Checks needs to be requested by yourself from your country of origin and where you have lived in the past 10 years.  

6. Interview with Senior Management.
