The Gibraltar Youth Production Team is an exciting opportunity for anyone interested in media, film, and photography.

​

Run by the Gibraltar Youth Service, this leadership project gives young people aged 16–25 the chance to explore every aspect of a production team; from filming and photography to editing and project management.

​

The project is especially aimed at young people who may not currently be in education, employment, or training, offering valuable skills for future careers or further studies. Participants can build a professional portfolio while gaining hands-on experience.

Through GYPT, members develop both technical and professional skills, including:

  • Photography, videography, lighting, and editing

  • Teamwork and collaboration

  • Time management and meeting deadlines

  • Presentation and communication skills

  • Planning, organisation, and leadership

  • Decision-making and problem-solving

By combining creativity with real-world skills, GYPT helps young people bridge the gap between education and employment, while doing something they love.
