Abdul, a Youth & Community Worker with 10+ years’ experience, manages Dolphins Youth Club, leads support programmes, oversees disability initiatives, and coaches basketball while promoting positive youth and community development.
Abdul holds a postgraduate degree in Youth Work as well as a BA in Sports and Events Management. Abdul currently manages Dolphins Youth Club, a dynamic club with high levels of participation from young people across Gibraltar. He enjoys working with young people, their families and the wider community, and is driven by a strong commitment to making a positive impact. He has developed and delivered personal support programmes and youth work for students at Bayside School and also serves as the Disability Coordinator for the youth service, a role that is particularly close to his heart. Abdul has additionally developed and co-led a project supporting young offenders at HMP Windmill Hill. Alongside his youth work, Abdul has a strong passion for basketball. He has played for many years and has proudly represented Gibraltar at the Island Games. He is currently Head Coach of Bayside Basketball Club and the Boys’ Under-18 National Team.
