youth achievement awards

The Gibraltar Youth Service, on behalf of the Ministry of Youth, is proud to launch the first Youth Achievement Awards, designed to celebrate Gibraltar’s next generation of leaders, innovators, and change-makers. The awards honour the extraordinary contributions of young individuals aged 12–25.

The Youth Achievement Awards recognise young people who demonstrate excellence, leadership, or kindness in ways that inspire others, promote social good, or foster community growth. Achievements may include volunteerism, environmental activism, innovation, or acts of compassion, reflecting the wide range of ways young people positively impact their communities.

The public is invited to nominate deserving individuals, who will be placed into two categories: Junior (ages 12–18) and Senior (ages 19–25). Nominations are also welcome for organisations or NGOs that embody youth-driven impact.

Nominations will be reviewed by a committee of community leaders and educators, with selections based on community impact, creativity, inspiration, and overcoming challenges. Winners will be announced at the Youth Achievement Awards Ceremony, hosted by the Minister for Youth.
